Abstract

Documentary devoted to the Greek community of Salins de Giraud. In an Orthodox church, Hélène Herrera says that immigrants brought their own culture and faith; orthodoxy continues, even among children. In a career, Emmanuel Ballaris talks about the solidarity among the community and his father’s attachment towards France. We can see him dancing the Sirtaki with friends. Drosos and Théophanie Maelis remember the shack they lived in, and how an uncle brought the whole family.
