Abstract

Portrait of two young French bullfighters: El Nimeno I and Simon Casas; the first is the 1968 winner of the Foundation of the Vocation; they received a grant from the Foundation to enable them to train, gain their spurs in Spain and France and overcome the prejudice according to which a good matador is necessarily Spanish. On Sunday, in Arles, they will fight with two promising young Spanish: Vicente Linares and Antonio Nunez.
