Abstract

Reportage filmed in one of the early Roman regions, called “Narbonnaise” at the Gallo-Roman. This trip takes us from Vaison La Romaine to Orange, passing by Nîmes and the Pont Du Gard. It allows us to understand the way of life and of entertainment of the Gauls and the Romans. -with Jean-Claude Bessac,a former stonemason, now archaeologist at CNRS. -with Alain Veyrac, archaeologist, who performs the route of the aqueduct near Uzès. -with Marc Heller, photographer. -with Melanie Bienfait, guide-lecturer. -with the archaeologist Nuria Nin. Visit to a vineyard in Beaucaire, where 2000 years ago, vines were already grown. Tasting with Hervé Durand, a wine grower and André Tchernia, researcher.
