Abstract

In Marseilles creeks, the underwater prehistoric cave , discovered by the diver Henri Cosquer was authenticated after 9 years. More than a hundred drawings and engravings have been found there. A scientific team of twenty people, including archaeologists, professional divers, geologists, historians, surveyors, etc., and with a high-tech, regularly embark on a research vessel equipped for diving, the Archeonaute, to study its richeness. The report presents the interviews: - Jean Courtin ,researcher ( CNRS), - Henri Cosquer'' inventor'' of the cave, - Jean Clottes (Ministry of Culture and Francophony) - Helen Valladas at Gif sur Yvette, in the laboratories of Atomic Energy Commission, Beatrice-Berge explains the phenomenon of carbon-14 which permits to put the exact date of any dead element , Guy-Dauphin (DRASM) speaks of the diver's stress, - Luke Long (DRASM) explains the two complementary systems that allow to reconstruct the cave in three dimensions.
