Sequence extracted from the documentary series "Women also" devoted to Golda Meir, "the grandmother of Israel ". The Allenby Bridge is the only crossing point over the Jordan River between Jordan and the occupied territories by the Israeli army in the West Bank. Since the Six Day War of 1967, Palestinians have to wait many hours to get a pass to visit family on the other side of the river or for a final departure.Type
