Abstract

On November 13, 1958, the Algerian Association invited the writer Albert Camus for a conference at the Circle of Overseas France in Paris, before a limited audience. He mentions what could be the "Algeria of tomorrow",that he imagines just like the Algerian literary school, mixing French and Arab writers. This group of writers illustrated the brotherhood of a North African literature that has tried to honor the virtues of courage and loyalty.
