Abstract

The program, that focuses on the organization of space in the Mediterranean, begins with a story to ethnological character of transhumance and the allocation of tasks by gender, among shepherds in northern Greece. At home, the domain of the gynoecium is mainly domestic work. The outdoor space is that of men, whether for activities of report or of sociability public places. The street is also the place of religious practices: Muslim prayer or Christian community gathering. With the participation of Professors Georges Vallet, André Miquel and Paul Auberson.
