Abstract

Documentary as part of the International Campaign for the Protection of monuments and historic districts of Istanbul. With the development of this program, UNESCO and the Turkish government intend to mobilize the international community to ensure the preservation, enhancement and thus revive this heritage of great wealth and surprising variety. The film revolves around an alternating images of different neighborhoods and landmarks, accompanied by music. Interviews with a specialist of Turkish architecture and a deputy director at the Office of tourism, who deliver a historical approach to the architecture of Istanbul.
