Abstract

A reporting that tells about the history of Venice, of the Doge’s Palace, of Saint Mark’s Square and Basilica, 3 places that were at the heart of power of the Republic of Venice, the one that shaped in the Middle Ages dominated the Mediterranean region for several centuries. A comment on the fact images and the illustrating ones (engravings, old maps) alternate with talks by: Giandomenico ROMANELLI, the director of Venice Museums, Alessandra SCHIAVON, an archivist, Donatella CALABI, a historian of architecture, Giuseppe GULLINO, a historian, who tell the history of the places one after the other, along with a visit.
