Abstract

El Yarmouk valley means “The Roman Land”, which is a fertile land with beautiful views. Um Qais is one of its most beautiful sites with its Roman theatres in which many games, sports competitions such as wrestling are held. In this valley, there are many famous Shrines such as. - The shrine of Abu Obeida Amer Ibn Al-Jarrah and Sharhabil Ibn Hassan. It was in this valley that the leader Khaled Ibn walid defeated the Romans in the Yarmouk battle, a complete Muslim victory. The valley contains important plants such as orchidaceae . With the cooperation of Syria, a dam was built there. Presentation of the region with its new villages and farms, this region has preserved all its authenticity and is linked to its history.
