Abstract

This episode deals with beliefs and religions in Petra, the capital of the Nabataeans, the period in which they lived, their wars with the Romans and the Greeks, and their democracy in politics. Petra is one of the seven wonders of the world. Through pictures, photos and paintings we get to know about the most important period in the Arab-Nabataeans' life. The Nanataeans had built the Nabataen Kingdom, fought to protect and preserve it, defended it from enemies and dug it in the rocks. They protected its entrances and exits and took care of its social and touristic fields until we have inherited it. Today it is a wonder that captures the interest of tourists all over the world.
