Abstract

Jordan is a fortified land for cultural diversity and openness to other cultures. It was among the first countries that ratified the convention on cultural diversity with the UNESCO. The Jordanian cultural diversity is revealed in the paintings as well as in the festivals of music held all around the year and supported by the nation’s institutions and the Ministry of Culture. The Jordanian theatre also plays a role in enriching the diversity on stage, whether in the capital or in the provinces. We should not forget the archaeological sites that once were home for artistic works and plays of major humanitarian value.
