Abstract

The cooperative organization plays a leading role in sheep and cattle breeding. Sheep breeders rely on it to take advantage of their products (milk, meat, wool…) for their daily life needs. The organization provides them with veterinary supervision, food and advice to develop this sector. Men and women work hand in hand to develop sheep farming, especially in the region of Tafila. The organization also provides loans and support to small-scale projects, mainly agricultural projects . Sheep farming in Tafila is one of these projects which contribute to increase the family income by selling their products (milk, meat, wool) .
