Abstract

One of the duties of the Cooperative Organization is to support and educate fishermen, whether in the Gulf of Aqaba or in private farms. As fishing in the Gulf of Aqaba cannot meet the needs of the local market, the alternative is the creation of farms to grow particular fish species. The Cooperative Organization helds orientation sessions related to this sector. This would help to meet the needs of the citizens, and increase the farm-owners' income.
