Abstract

The desert man relied on his environment, he moved from one spot to another seeking for grass to feed his cattle. The establishment of the research center for the development of the desert, and the creation of a partnership with the local residents have changed his lifestyle; from mobile grazing to pastoral stable and later, to farming. The infrastructure and services such as schools, jobs, health centers contributed to his stability.
