Abstract

A student's scientific trip to Petra to learn about the history of the city and its first inhabitants; the Nabataean. They will know about their way of life, how they trasported water, built houses, amphitheatres and caves. In addition to the wars to defend their kingdom. The students will also discover the books on the inhabitants of Petra known for their patience and their ability to face all the challenges. The Nabataeans used to dig in rocks and and organize their life so as to be protected from the harsh climate. They used these constructions not only as dwellings but for trade and handicrafts.
