The village of Gore Safi is situated south of the Dead Sea. One can have access to it through two ways, either through Karak or Alzaret which is situated 350 meters below the sea level. The weather is very hot in summer and moderate in winter. Its inhabitants depend on agriculture and breeding animals. Gore Safi is considered as one of the most important region to export vegetables in addition to the presence of factories such as the Arab Pottash which contribute to the development of local productions and allow job opportunities. As far as tourism is concerned there are also archaeological sites dating back to the Bronze Age. All these factors make from Ghor Safi a destination for tourists all through the year.Type
