Abstract

Presentation of life in the village “ Fuheis” situated west Amman. Its inhabitants used to work in agriculture and breeding animals. So they depended on nature’s generosity. This episode highlights the importance of solidarity among members of the village . Their main activities are: viticulture, production of grapes, and the export of wheat, chickpea and other grains, after putting aside what the family needs. They also provide their reserves for milk and cheese . The episode also chronicles the customs of the inhabitants of Fuheis including those related to marriage: the henna, the bride's trousseau, gold jewelry and household items. Presentation of utensils used in brewing, and popular songs for wedding ceremonies and traditional dishes prepared to honor the guests.
