Abstract

Magazine specialized in the heritage and the life of desert populations in Jordan. This episode is about their customs, their belongings including hair tents, horses and arms called “Echabria”. This arm looks like a dagger, it is a sharp tool made of steel exposed to high temperature given its shape with a hammer. Desert men use it as an accessory to their clothes, for self-defense and also in their daily activities. Presentation of the region of OdhIrh in the south which is mentioned in Islamic history and its remaining buildings date back to the Ottoman period.The magazine mentions the thoroughbred arabian horses used for transport and race. Desert people are very proud of their horses which they evoke in their poetry.
