A documentary about life in the desert including customs, traditions, housing, tools and poetry; particularly that known as “national poetry”. It evokes the making of “Rebaba” (traditional instrument of music) and its importance in ceremonies, as well as dairy products;especially ghee and milk which are considered as a source of income. In the memory of the place, we will know about “Asikhem Palace”, in the north east of Jordan. It was built with black basalt stones and was used to protect convoys of salt traders. This Roman palace is located in a strategic spot between Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia, its history is linked to the salt oases, Al azraq , Serhane valley and Doumat El Djendel.Type
