AbstractThe documentary deals with one of the monuments in Jordan, “The University of Jordan”. It evokes the idea to found a first University in Jordan that would give the Jordanians the opportunity to study at home and so save foreign currency, with the royal support and care. The University was built in the region ofJubaiha to be close to the center of Amman and to make it getatable for the students and employees. For that purpose, a piece of land was granted to build the University, this land used to be a forest in a fertile agricultural region. Interviews with Naser Eddine El Assad, the first rector of the University and Abdessalem Al Majali, one of the former rectors in the University and a former Prime Minister of Jordan.
