Abstract

A tour in two regions: Alramimin and jela'ad, in the province of Al Balqa, west of Amman. There are a lot of fountains, Orchards, vineyards, figs, olives and wild flowers as well as forests, which makes them tourist regions par excellence. A visit to Al Ramimin water falls, a water mill dating back to the Ottoman period and to the horse club. Students' interviews with the local inhabitants about the standard of services provided to tourists. A visit of the Umayad mosque, in Jela'ad, with its prayer niche still in a good condition, a cemetry which is believed to date back to the Roman and Byzantine era and a Byzantine olive press.
