Abstract

A program about the most prominent monuments in Jordan and the succession of civilizations it had known; whether Byzantine, Roman, Nabataean, Islamic or Persian. One of the cities inhabited by these civilizations is Petra which dates back to the Nabataeans. Vestiges in the city of Amman and the Roman Amphitheatre, Jerash and Karak fortress, Rabd fortress and desert castles, testify the presence of these ancient civilizations.
