Abstract

The program is about contemporary literary figures in Jordan: this episode presents Dr Fawaz Toukan, a poet and writer. We get to know about his relationship with the poets in his family Ibrahim Toukan, Fadwa Toukan and his father Ahmed Toukan. Dr Fawaz Toukan was born in Jerusalem in 1942. He obtained a Master and doctorate degrees from a university in the United states in 1968. he has published many literary and poetry works, books, novels…. In 1969, he was a teacher at the University of Jordan. He was Minister of Social Development from 1988 to1989.
