Abstract

This episode focuses on Mr Rateb Rabdi who transformed a land into a productive one, in the region of Adjloun. The land was covered with rocks which he broke then used to prevent soil erosion in this farm which is estimated at 60 acres. He then planted olive trees and citrus there.. He also had livestock. He managed to collect water in reservoirs. Rateb then became a fruit, vegetables and olive oil producer. He also produced olive and soap, raised cattle with his wife and started producing cheese and dairy and also chicken which made him self-sufficient.
