Abstract

The episode talks about the coffee industry and the importance of coffee in rural and desert life. The program gives a historical overview about coffee and how rural and desert people knew about it. The program introduces the different tools, for roosting and grinding, as well as the special pots used for boiling coffee and the different cups in which coffee is served. Moreover, the ingredients added to give the coffee a special flavor. Coffee is very popular; it is consumed in all occasions : happy or sad. There is a special tradition in pouring coffee; coffee is a symbol of welcoming guests so it is found in every house.
