Abstract

The program is about the flag of Jordan and the changes it underwent since the early Islamic conquests. It speaks about the chronology of all the flags including the white flag on which is written “No God but Allah, Mohamed the messenger of God”. Then was adopted the Jordanian flag, bringing together green, white, black and red, embroidered with a star. The flag has several names : Al Raya, El Bairek, Alliouaa, it depends on the chronology of events that the arab region witnessed; since the time of the prophet (peace be upon him) to the independence movements. The episode explains the different colours contained in flags during the conquest, before Sherif Hossein Ben Ali decided that the arab flag includes red, green, black and white.
