Abstract

The documentary focuses on the Jordanian Department of Meteorology which was established in 1951 monitoring office at Jerusalem . The number of meteorological stations was then very limited, but it has developed with the introduction of modern technologies. The department deals with every matter related to the climate.It functions in many aspects of citizens' life . It issues weather bulletins using satellites and computerized equipment to identify the latest and most accurate weather forecast. These bulletins are very important for aircraft movements and ports. The weather forecast department has joined the World Meteorological Organization of the United Nations .Its staff is qualified in this field .
