Jordan is known to be the cradle of many civilizations. We can find ruins everywhere in the Kingdom, that's why it is considered as an open air museum. Each of these ruins has a story to tell its visitors. These museums are granted with great care and interest by the government . In Amman, the Roman amphitheater is the museum of popular life in Jordan, including all its features: agricultural, industrial and social. It opened in 1975, to protect the heritage from extinction, the items exhibited date back to the late 19th century. The Jordan Archaeological museum is located in El Kalaa mountain. It is specialized in the ruins discovered and collected over time. They belong to different periods; from the pre-history until the Islamic era. Finally, the program mentions the Jordan National Museum of Fine Arts, founded with the support of his Majesty the late King Hussein Ben Talal and Her Majesty The Queen Noor Al Hussein.Type
