Abstract

The poet Omar Abu Al Haija was born in the refugee camp of Ibrid, in northern Jordan. He expresses his memories and those of all children who were subjected to injustice and thrown off their lands,their fields, their gardens and their homes . The poet recounts how he grew up and was educated in the camp, he remembers all the dreams which every Palestinian had during the exodus , he talks about his poetry and its impotance to him as it is a means of resistance .. The pen for him is his weapon.
