Abstract

The episode presents all the poems written by the poet Nayef Abu Abid about fig and olive trees. The poet glorifies the farmer who cultivates the land and takes care of it until olive trees grow and give fruit and oil. Then poems about fig trees are presented: how fruit are picked in certain seasons, the way they are dried to be kept for other seasons without forgetting their nutritional value. - Poems about pomegranate trees as pomegranate is the fruit of people who would go to paradise. - The episode contains also artistic programs: popular song, lyrics and songs about fig and pomegranate.
