Abstract

A program on tourism which presents the city of Aqaba;its monuments, its history full of conflicts in the period of the Ottoman reign. An example of the architectural style there is the Aqaba's castle which played a great role as it resisted many aggressions, and was used as a rest place for pilgrims. We discover also the marine biological station of fish, coral and the Royal Diving Club, in addition to the beaches, the popular cafés and tourist restaurants which contribute to the national economy We also discover ships and boats transporting travelers to and from neighboring countries . Some tourists buy souvenirs from this historical and touristic city .
