Abstract

Through this window, we will know about the method of manufacturing gold and silver jewels. From sounding the raw material , to its shaping by the Jeweler in his workshop, using moulds and tweezers to get the desired shape. The shape depends on whether the piece is worn in fingers, on a wrist or a neck. We discover the traditional pistons to make these moulds, we will also know about other processes of preparing the materials before they are given a form. Some of them require high temperatures and primary tools to melt, as well as high precision in manufacturing, shaping and carving.
