Abstract

In the city of Madaba, Muslims and Christians meet at the same place where the mosque and the church are located. That was their situation for a long time as revealed by the ruins and the jewels of Western Madaba which overlooks the Red Sea, the Jordan valley and Palestine. In the valley are Moses' springs named after the Prophet Moses ( Peace be upon him). One can also see a copy of Moses stick in the form of a jewel, not far from the churches, overlooking the holy river, where the baptism of the Christ took place. So Jordan is antique with its past and nice with its present.
