Abstract

In this episode we visit agricultural land in the region of Liwaa Bani Abid in the North of Jordan where there are many villages such as: Al Hasn, Abdoun, Sarih Al Nouaaima, Katam and Shatna where there is the cultivation of olives, grapes, wheat, Barley, chickpeas , Okra and other vegetables. This area covers 30% of the agricultural land and more than two thousand acres of forest land. This area is characterized by the availability of water due to rain so the land is fertile. There are some problems in this sector such as the marketing of olive oil, unemployment and the cost of farming.
