The Jordanian desert which covers 80% of Jordan’ a area is considered environmentally balanced. Presentation of the desert’s past which is a stock of heritage, how to preserve it and the role played by research to develop the desert. Man has lived a balanced life in the desert either in Jordan or in other parts of the Arab desert where it was necessary to preserve the environment and maintain pastures and wild life. Studies on desertification and drought are part of the Arab desert whether it is in Syria, Saoudi Arabia or Iraq where studies on soil, vegetation, water and water reserves are done to achieve the so-called development in Rwished, Sefari and other regions for the benefit of the community.Type
