Abstract

This episode is about the plastic artist Reham Ghassib, Reham has no lab or studio, but a small table and colored pens and brushes for drawing. With her brushes and colors she feels that she expresses herself. She feels she is linked spiritually to her paintings. She says that the artist has to be honest with himself before being honest with his audience. In her paintings, colors have a spiritual criterion, imagination is linked with social realities. “The eye loves what is beautiful”. This is expressed in her paintings either the ones about nature, cultural heritage or the ones about her neighborhood and her city.
