A documentary about the city of Petra , the civilization which was associated with the Nabataean Saoudi Arabia nine hundred years ago.The Nabataeans spent more than 400 years to contract and carve Petra, its houses, pathways and roads. The Swiss explorer John Buckhardt arrived to the Arab region and heard about Petra so he explored it and discovered its treasures, and Nabataeans potter inheritance. Petra is known for its water and the rain which gathers there. There is a waterfall that was used for drinking and agriculture. Today, it is used to irrigate plants. Presentation of Petra Pharaoh’s castle which remains still exist. The story says that the Pharaoh buried his daughter and many treasures there; he planned to return there after and get them back . There is also the temple which is 45 meters high, it is both a temple and cemetery where the last Nabataean King was buried. The Romans founded their civilization on the ruins of the Nabataean civilization in Petra.Type
