Abstract

This episode from the magazine “Cultural monuments” deals with the last edifice in Jordan, the Jordan institute of diplomacy; its importance which is teaching and educating to prepare diplomats for missions abroad. The focus is put on the importance of an Ambassador or consul or representative of a country to have knowledge of the country in which he works, knowledge of details concerning relations, communication skills and the general strategy of the country. The new students have to train enough to acquire these skills. - Presentation of the institute, its history, establishment in 1994 and its important achievements.
