Abstract

This episode talks about the city of Aqaba. Presentation of its great history since the Roman era, the Islamic period and the reconciliation between Muslims and people of Ayla (Aqaba) so as El Aqaba would be a gateway to Syria. In 1116 the crusaders governed El Aqaba. It was freed later by the great leader Salah Eddine EL AyoubiI .A fort was then built, it was used as the house leadership to the leader or the great Arab Sherif EL Hussein Ben Ali Today, the fort is considered as a historical museum. El Aqaba is developing with its marine life, fishermen, palm, water and its ports.
