Abstract

Presentation of Ajloun, its mountains, its scenery, history, attractive forest and its famous castle “The Ajloun Castle” built in the year 1173 by Azzedine Oussama Ibn EL Mounkid, at the highest mountain in Ajloun. This leader was one of the leaders with Salah Eddine AL Ayoubi so he built the castle for military purposes: to control the roads and the crusaders. In this episode, we get to know about books and poetry written about Ajloun and its castle which is also called “El Rabd Castle”.
