Abstract

A special program talking about king Hussein’s mosque which was built in honor of Hussein, the builder of modern Jordan. The mosque is considered among the best architectural Islamic designs which mix authenticity with modern civilization. This is apparent in its doors and gates which represent designs from the Umayyads and Abbasids’ periods. There are also stone interfaces sculptured and carved. The windows indicate of different civilizations, the prayer niche resembles the first Islamic arts, the pulpit resembles Salah Eddine’s one which was taken to Jerusalem.
