Abstract

This episode is about the story of the “ cavemen”: the cave is located near Amman. This story is known all over the world and is told in the Quran. The cave is called Rejaib . The youths who slept in a cave for years were known as “the People of the cave”. The Romanian state at that time forbade Christianity and Killed its followers especially during the reign of the Emperor Tarajan. The youths fled persecution and took refuge in a cave ,they were accompanied by a pastor and his dog. In the cave, they prayed then fell asleep. They slept for 300 years . During that time, the Emperor died, and things had changed . There was another Emperor, good and fair. When the youths woke ( thanks to the power of God almighty) they didn’t know what had happened to them. This story is told in the Quran and given as an example of faith in God.
