Abstract

This episode introduces the projects of Al Hussein Agricultural Association in Dassa, Aqaba. With its 940 members, it has contributed to the development of the region, the preservation of the environment and the increase of the citizens' income. The association owns agricultural lands with palm trees, olive trees, a vineyard, a pond for irrigation and an olive press with modern equipment. The episode also introduces Abderrahman Al Hassassin, an environmental researcher who supervises the oryx release program in Wadi Rum. He founded Assalihia association that manufactures souvenirs to be sold in tourist centers.
