Abstract

This episode is about Qusair Amra located in the eastern region of Jordan. Many important historical events took place in this castle. It is a natural museum; on its walls and ceiling are drawings representing wild and domestic animals, some of which having disappeared because of hunting. In the castle there is also a big well topped with a waterwheel to withdraw collected water. The castle is famous for its dome, known as the Levant gate, that is seen from remote spots in the desert.
