Abstract

The village of Al Dissa is located South of Jordan, 5 km from the tourist village of Rum. Its inhabitants are mainly bedouin who settled around the Artesian wells. Some became farmers because of the availability of water. The government supplied the village with the necessary services as schools and a health center. A camping site was set up to accommodate tourists from different parts of the world and create job opportunuties.
