Samia Halby is a Palestinian plastic artist who was born in Jerusalem in 1937 . She lives in America but goes to Palestine from time to time to paint an olive tree and give some courses in plastic arts to Palestinian girls. She left with her family following the pressure of the Israeli occupation of 1948 and since then she has been travelling through Lebanon ,Jordan, America and other Arabic and foreign countries . She tries to reflect that situation in her works. The other report is on other stories of other women who have suffered from the oppression of the Israeli aggression . Some women talk about their love to the land and to olive trees and the necessity to have olive oil at home for all the members of the family .Type
