Abstract

The documentary introduces the suffering of the population in the area of Negev . Presentation of the area and its history as it has been inhabited by the Arab nomads before 1948. We met some residents of Al-Araqeeb village talk about the village and why it was called so , about their way of life before the Israeli occupation and how it became a nightmare with the presence of the enemy . Abu Kaid Ismail speaks about Israel’s policy of home demolitions, deportation and the ways of the enemy to frighten the villagers in order to deprive them from their land . Aziz Abu Naim talks about the tragedy of Arab Bedouins since 1948 who became refugees though they are land owners. The program ends with some of the Nomads' eating habits , the traditions and the habits they have preserved despite the harshness of life .
