Abstract

- The religious importance of Al Aqsa Mosque in history. - Its location on Mont Morian, its area, its design, its dome, the motifs and inscriptions inside it. - Presentation of the 15 doors of Al Aqsa Mosque, 10 doors are open and 5 closed. - Presentation of its minaret and the buildings around it. - Al Aqsa was burnt by the Jews on 12.08. 1969 and it was restored later. - Al Aqsa mosque was built in the Umayyads’ era by Abdelmalek Ibn Maroune in 693.
