Abstract

Yasser Arafat is a Palestinian politician and a symbol of the Palestinian resistance. His real name, Mohamed Yasser Abderaouf Arafat, alias " Abu Ammar". He was elected President of the Palestinian National Authorty in 1996. He chaired the Palestinian Liberation Organization in 1969 as the third person to hold this post since the organization was founded in 1964. He was the commander -in- chief of the Fatah, the major mouvement in the organization he founded in 1959. The film is a detailed account of Arafat's life, with photos: as a young man, with resistants during an attack and while leaving Lebanon, his visit to Tunisia, while praying... and others photos with patients, among his supporters in arab countries and photos during the last days of his life.
